In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg.
Mix until a soft dough forms.

Knead by hand for about 5 minutes (or 3 minutes with a mixer) until smooth and elastic.
The dough should be soft but not sticky. Add 1β2 tbsp flour if needed.
